The Ohio County Virtual Lions Club is a specialty club, focusing on helping children in Ohio County. Most of our projects directly or indirectly involve or benefit children.

The Ohio County Virtual Lions has partnered with Kappa Delta Pi Education Honorary XI Chapter at West Liberty University, Wheeling Parks and Recreation, Wheeling News Register, and Grow Warwood Pride to bring this exciting project to life! Wheeling News Register has agreed to give us newspaper vending machines to allow us to decorate them and turn them into little free libraries. We are looking for artists to decorate, businesses who are interested in being little free library locations, and people to donate books to them.

To make a donation to this project or any project, hit the donate link at the bottom of the page or contact us directly.

Would you like to read a story to kids but your kids are all grown? Maybe you have a favorite story you want to share with the Virtual Lions community? Have some kiddos who love to have stories read to them? Check out this playlist! E-mail us at ohiocountyvirtuallions@gmail.com if you would like to submit your video of reading a children’s story for those who may want to hear a story!

Our Lions are dedicated to our children, in every way imaginable!  A number of our members are Ohio County School employees, including the last two Ohio County Schools Teachers of the Year!  Learning doesn’t stop after school or after the school year is over, so we are working to help bridge the summer slump! We have several options:

“Office” hours: Sunday 10am-12pm on Zoom
