Lions Club International recognizes the global cause of diabetes prevention and management, but it is especially close to our hearts.  West Virginia ranks FIRST in the United States in diabetes prevalence (15%), and we all know someone who is managing diabetes.  Even more alarming, 1 in 3 is likely undiagnosed.  The Ohio County Virtual Lions is planning to dedicate many resources to helping with early screening, detection, and education along with help to those currently managing diabetes.
