Sergeant Del L. Pallottini enlisted in the Army Air Force November 18, 1942, serving as a control tower operator. He served in the European Theater of Operations and proudly received The Good Conduct Medal, World War II Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal. Sergeant Pallottini was honorably discharged on April 26, 1946 and continued his love of flying for many years.
